Meat the Truth on St. Maarten
On Friday January 15th the students of St. Dominic High School on the island of St. Maarten had the chance to Meat the Truth. The screening was organized by the school’s Film Club and the students present were very impressed. The school management has decided to screen the film in all of the school’s classes, in order to give all students the opportunity to watch Meat the Truth.

Meat the Truth interview on the website of Meatless Monday
Meatless Monday is a non-profit initiative of The Monday Campaigns, in association with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Their goal is to help reduce meat consumption 15% in order to improve personal health and the health of our planet. Large attendance at Meat the Truth screening in Copenhagen
Almost 200 people attended the screening of Meat the Truth on Thursday the 17th of December during the climate summit in Copenhagen. The climate film screened at the Klimaforum09, the people's climate summit, and was greeted by the audience with great interest. The film addresses the enormous impact of livestock farming on global warming, a fact that is often ignored by policymakers and therefore an important message to stress during this summit. Marianne Thieme was present to answer questions from the audience after the screening, which was highly appreciated. One of the people present shared that she used to be a vegetarian, but had started eating meat again. However, after watching Meat the Truth, she immediately decided to go back to a plant-based diet again.
